About the Author
Brenda Hynes wanted to become an actor from a very early age. Her career took her from the city of Leeds, in Yorkshire, England where she was born and started her training, to Hollywood USA where she learned all about the film and television industries.
During her time in Hollywood, Brenda worked both in front of and behind the cameras. After she finished her own career, she taught others the art of acting. Today, in her retirement years, she still teaches a few student actors, is involved in a little casting, and directs her own theatre productions.
In all, Brenda has over fifty years of experience in theatre, film and television. Her story is a simply told, heart-warming account of her journey - and her humble beginnings will no doubt resonate with many star-struck kids of today.
Until Brenda decided to teach and cast she has appeared in commercials advertising products such as Gatorade, Dove soap and Coca Cola. She has also had the privilege of working alongside actors such as:

I had studied at many different acting classes when I met Brenda at a seminar she was hosting. We have been friends ever since. She has wealth of experience which she can now share on her CD. Brenda has been my mentor and inspiration for the script I am writing.
